Clothiers Creek Wines are nestled in the upper valleys of the coastal range overlooking Cabarita Beach in Northern NSW. Clothiers Creek Wines make limited quantities of Shiraz, Chambourcin and Verdelho wines.
Colour
Plum with purple tinges, transparent bright and clear.
Nose
Vanilla along with sweet blackberries and boysenberry aromas greet the nose along with herbaceous and sweet fruit pudding aromas.
Palate
Good light mouth feel along with spice on the front with rich sweet fruits on the mid palate. Good tight tannins and acid balance finish this well rounded palate. The fruit flavours linger on the palate with hints of vanilla and blackcurrants. There is a distinct gamey character and a funky feel to the wine.
Food Match and Cellaring
A great match with rabbit, quail or most game dishes, also with most spicy dishes like bolognaise and pizza.
