2010 Shiraz 11.1% alc/vol

Clothiers Creek Wines are nestled in the upper valleys of the coastal range overlooking Cabarita Beach in Northern NSW. Clothiers Creek Wines make limited quantities of Shiraz, Chambourcin and Verdelho wines.

Colour

Intense plum cerise colour, clear and bright with a light straw tinge around the edges

Nose

Spicy peppery Shiraz on the nose matched with good vanilla oak along with red fruits and ripe mulberries. There are also hints of tomato bush and herbaceous characters.

Palate

Spicy pepper upfront with some tight grippy tannin evident. The palate is light but has good length along with the fruit characters of dark fruits blackberry and mulberries along with undertones of redcurrants. The vanilla oak is present but adds to the well balanced finish.

Food matches and Cellaring

This wine will go well with Pizza, Bolognaise and a good steak with cellaring capabilities of up to 5 years
